What sponsorship funds
Not hosting bills — engineering. Sponsorship pays for the verification campaigns that make a core trustworthy: directed suites for the modules upstream never tested, formal proofs on the logic that fails silently, mutation testing that proves the suites can fail, and hardware bring-up on real boards. The output is public quality: ten upstream defects found and fixed so far, every one now documented.
Sponsors don't buy exclusivity — the catalogue stays free for everyone. They buy existence: the next core, verified, with their name on the work.
